The petition and campaign "Free Sunder" was successful, and by order of the Supreme Court, he was re-located, so it's mainly thanks to everyone worldwide who cared enough to speak up for Sunder.

I am glad to hear that the petition worked. I think I signed that one.
It is great news for the elephant and it is great news that petitions work.
I hope now that he is safe, Sunder can have a peaceful and gentle life.
