Sadly, Noodles died on Friday afternoon (Friday 13th). She was only 12 weeks old. She was one of the a=baby rabbits I rescued when they were 6 weeks old. I really thought that she would make it especially when she reached 8 weeks and was doing really well along with her brother. So, it was a big shock when I found her dead in the hutch. Her brothers, Nibbles and Nugget are doing well.

RIP Noodles xx

That is so sad. I guess she didn't get a good start in life and all your good care could only do so much. She was a lovely little girl. I wish she could have had lots of years with you.

Baby rabbits are fragile creatures aren't they.
Poor little Noodles.
Dear little Noodles. What a sweet girl. I am so sorry for all your losses recently.
I hope you all are feeling a little better. It is so hard to lose a little one like Noodles. She was so young and full of promise. Any idea about what happened?

Yes, we are feeling a little better, thanks. It's been tough losing more than one animal recently and it was really sad about Noodles. Still no idea as to why it happened. All I can guess is that she just wasn't strong enough.

For some odd reason, deaths cluster like that. When you lose one, you seem to lose several. When they are sudden it is even harder. I am glad the worst of the shock is over.
Poor little Noodles. As you say she just wasn't strong enough. Young animals do not have so strong a hold on life. It takes so little for them to fail.
How are the other rabbits in her family doing?
