Dog rescuer, Henry Friedman and his own dog actually took a vacation. They camped on a remote beach in Mexico's Baja Peninsula. They found 3 stray dogs and 3 stray puppies.
He contacted local rescues to try and rescue the dogs. The rescue managed to pick up 2 puppies. Henry has to come back to pick up the other 4.
They were taken to safety in San Diego by The Animal Pad. The next day two of the dogs gave birth to 16 puppies between them. That rescue came just in time for those dogs

It is hard to take a break when you rescue animals. Everywhere you might go, you would be looking around for strays. There is no taking a break from caring.
For the two dogs who delivered puppies, the rescue came just in time. Happily now, instead of a life as a stray, the puppies will grow up, much loved in forever homes.
