Atlantic Salmon fish farms are a controversy on the west coast. There are a lot of objections to them. From the point of view of Sea Lions and Seals, they have been a danger. In the past sea lions and seals have been caught in the nets and drowned. This time  the Sea Lions  have figured things out and they have turned a fish farm into an all you can eat buffet. They are going from pen to pen eating as many fish as they can. The staff are having no luck getting them to leave.

Good for the Sea Lions. They have suffered losses, now they are getting some compensation. This could change the whole fish farming picture. If they can crash on fish farm, they can crash them all. Sea Lions are social so they will pass on the knowledge of a free all you can eat salmon buffet. Probably the Seals will learn from them. Maybe eagles and other hunters will check out the salmon situation. Maybe the Orcas will move in. They could use a good salmon dinner.
Fish farms are a very artificial way to raise fish. Maybe this is natures way of objecting to it.
