The Pembina Valley Humane Society adopted out a bonded pair of young cats to what seemed to be a nice couple. They did all the usual checks and everything seemed fine. Sadly it was not fine and the shelter was lied to. The one cat has been found outside wandering in terrible shape. He will recover with good care. They do not know where the other cat is because the couple has disappeared. The shelter has put out pictures of the missing cat in hopes that he will be found.
They want to reunite him with his partner and they want to make sure he is okay.

Shelters try so hard to screen people before they get to adopt. I know people are sometimes frustrated by all the questions. This time it wasn't enough.
Clearly it wasn't a good home after all. I hope they find the missing cat. The people and the cats involved need to know the cat is safe.
