It seems we are in the process of choosing an unofficial official animal. The choices are interesting. I looks like they are going through a very thorough process to determine which animal people want. It will be interesting to hear the progress the voting is making.

I think I would go with the snapping turtle. They have been around a long time, and they are very much an Ontario feature.
If you have ever seen one, you would never forget it. They have a certain rough cuteness too. Who doesn't love a turtle?
