Virginia Zoo got a hippo for Christmas because one of their female hippos gave birth.
The baby is so cute. She is gaining weight rapidly going from 16 pounds to 24 pounds in a week.
She is actually a pygmy hippo so she is even cuter.

It is always nice when there is a birth at a zoo, Having a hippo for Christmas is especially sweet. I hope they find the perfect name for her.
