Bumble Bees are starting to amaze researchers. Bees that were taught to solve puzzles taught the rest of their colony  how to do it. If there were two ways to solve the puzzle, a colony would eventually show preference for one method other the other. It seems bumble bees have some form of culture in their colonies.

They are definitely showing more intelligence than expected. Like many species, bees are a lot smarter than we thought.
