There is a herd of wild cattle in the UK. They live in Northumberland. They were brought there 700 years ago. They are stocky little creatures, quite different from the cattle we breed now. There are also only 150 of them left.

I did not know there were any wild cattle left in England. They are beautiful creatures.
It is good to see what cattle once looked like before we started altering them for our purposes.
They are strong and they are survivors. They also let visitors come and see them. They are not interested in people, but they are okay with visitors.
