A couple in Wales was concerned about their trees. They seemed to be disappearing. They set up a camera and Surprise, it was a beaver at work.
It was a surprise, since there have been no beavers in Wales in a long time.
They have named him Anthony and he is welcome to stay on their land. He is currently building a lodge under their pond deck.

This is good news for their ecosystem. Even better news is that they don't know where he came from. The beaver are being returned to the wild, but they are doing some of their own returning. Give them a chance and they will spread across the country. At least we can hope this is what happens.
Hopefully a nice female beaver shows up so they can start a family together.
