The world is experiencing the hottest temperatures in record. This is effecting the ocean temperatures. In turn the coral reefs exposed to these temperatures are experiencing bleaching. Corals in this state can recover, but if conditions don't improve they can die. Coral reefs are essential to the health of the oceans.

We are seeing first hand the effects of global warming. On the land things are burning. In the the oceans, things are dying.
It is not too late to do something, but we do need to act quickly.

That started happening to our Great Barrier Reef there are people that have tried to reverse it and having limited success.

As long as the oceans are warmer we are going to keep losing coral. 
I hope they find a way to save at least some of the coral.
