An injured cat was taken to a shelter in Korea. It was assessed and then euthanized. What they failed to notice was the fact that it was not a domestic cat, It was actually a leopard cat and a young one.
They violated protocols when it comes to handling wildlife. It should have been taken to a wildlife center.

I would question the assessment the cat was given. It would not have looked like a domestic cat, There would have been physical differences between the two species. If they had known what it was they would have judged the cat differently. For its size, it was much younger than they thought because it wasn't actually a domestic cat, It didn't look like a domestic cat either.
I really think this needs careful investigation. How could a veterinarian not recognize that it was a wildcat kitten and follow protocols for dealing with wildlife.
