Rachael Rogers was already busy photographing and posting her own trips. Now she takes a shelter dog with her and posts pictures of their outing.
People see the dog out there having fun and they want to adopt it. When she travels she stops at shelters along the way and helps out. Now that she is known, shelters are happy to have her take a dog on an outing. She now works with 20 different shelters.

What a great  idea. Dogs in cages at shelters just don't have much appeal. A smiling dog on a road trip is a whole different dog. People see them as they really are and they want to adopt them. I hope she inspires others people to find ways to make dogs more adoptable.
