IFAW has compiled a list of 18 recent extinctions. It is noticeable that it is mostly frog species that are gone and small bird species.

We are losing species all the time now. Climate change and habitat destruction, both caused by humans, are the main reasons that so many animals are gone forever. We need to get serious about conservation issues. We need to restore habitats before it is too late. We need to take action on climate change.
It isn't just about us. Way too many species stand to lose out if we don't act soon.
