There were victories for animals in 2023. They range from Budweiser not cutting off their Clydesdales tails to Ford motors no longer paying to have pigs used in crash tests. After a 1993 PETA campaign Ford stopped using pigs in crash tests. However they paid others to do the testing for them.
Circuses are dropping animal acts. Tourist horse and camel ride operators were exposed for animal abuse and tour operators will no long sell tickets to such rides. That shut them down. There were many more victories this past year.
