Just to be clear, the rats are not actually real. However the shoes have rat cages for heels and fake rats in the cages.
It is been seen as a form of animal abuse because it promotes the misuse of a living creature.

The whole idea is strange. How long will it be before someone actually creates shoes that have a living creature in the heels.
People already do enough damage to animals. We shouldn't give them any ideas.
