The situation in Los Angeles is desperate. Wild animals and pets are in danger. Many fire fighters are risking their lives to save animals.
Some are truly heroic.
Sadly some of the firefighters are actually from prisons and are being brought in to help. They are only being paid $1.00 per hour.

The prisoner firefighters are not really being paid, but they are still heroes. I hope they are being respected as such.
