Wow. That story moved me to tears just now.

What a moving story. How sad for Tank and his owner that they were separated by war. How wonderful for his new person to be able to give him a wonderful life.
No wonder the shelter spent so much time looking for the right person.

I wish Tank and his new best friend a long and happy life together.
