Colo is the first gorilla to be born at a zoo. She is turning 57 and is the oldest gorilla. She is a special lady and I wish I could attend her party.

What a grand old Lady she is.

I think she has taught her keepers a lot about gorillas and their care.
The more we learn about them the more we have to respect them.
I hope she has many more years ahead. Maybe she can teach us about aging gracefully.
