The petition is ongoing. It is getting very close to its target. I had a look at the "recent signatures" box and people seem to signing every few minutes! So the 8000 odd signatures still needed should be reached soon.

We can only hope for the best. Public pressure has moved mountains and I hope it moves hearts. The sheep deserve their restful retirement .
