Working in a pet store makes you happy - Catherine - 02-28-2015

It seems that working in a pet store is one of the happier jobs. It gives more job satisfaction than higher paid jobs. Only teaching University made people happier.

So there you have it, feeding hamsters is good for you. If you do it for a living it is even better.

I am not surprized by the results.

Now you know why I have so many reptiles. I "work" at the reptile store on Saturdays and it is so easy to bring home the animals. I tend to bring home the damaged animals. (people drop them off) So far this year I have brought home a Bearded Dragon with a paralyzed back end, a Cuban Knight Anole with no back feet and now a Kenyan Sand Boa baby with two serious kinks in his spine and a new corn snake baby who has amazing colour and will fit into my breeding program(I watch for the special ones). I am very happy!Smiley4

I feel good when I help someone buy a baby corn snake that I know they are going to enjoy as a pet. Selling pets feels good because you know people are going to be happier because they have a pet.
