Animal art from hub caps - Catherine - 04-02-2015 The artist has used hub caps to make statues of animals. They really are quite good. Nothing like taking scrap and making something beautiful from it. I do not know which one I like best. http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/recycling/blogs/artist-turns-hubcaps-into-whimsical-creatures?source=fb&subsource=20150401Generalfb01&utm_source=gpeace&utm_medium=fb&utm_campaign=20150401Generalfb01 The fox is pretty amazing. RE: Animal art from hub caps - Tobi - 04-03-2015 Wow! What great artwork. You'd never imagine old hubcaps could re-shape into all sorts of creatures. RE: Animal art from hub caps - Tobi - 04-07-2015 This kind of reminds me of some of the little sculptures on sale in an "African shop" near where I live. Amazing works of art and beautifully made with imagination and skill. RE: Animal art from hub caps - Catherine - 04-07-2015 Some people are so talented. A few scraps and some good ideas and they have produced charming little pieces of art. I still find it hard to believe that the sculptures came from hub caps. They seem to delicate. |
