Tragedy at Toronto Bee Rescue - Catherine - 04-15-2015

I was just checking the Toronto Bee rescue update and they had some bad news.

Someone burned one of their hives. Who would do such a thing?
It was a cruel act and we are so desperate for bees.

I hope they are not too discouraged but such senseless vandalism.
We need people like this and we need the bees they care for.

I am really sorry this happened. Who would want to hurt bees? It makes no sense and is mindless vandalism. What idiots! What are those people going to do when there are no more pollinators to make the main ingredients of their "Big Mac"?

I think we are all stunned by this act of senseless vandalism.
It makes me fear for the other hives. I am glad they do not keep them all in one place. They also do not advertise the locations. If I had room, I would put in to take a hive, but my yard is too small.

I hope they can still expand as planned.
