More on the dog run over by police - Catherine - 10-31-2015
The police got a call to check on a coyote on night. They saw a dog and ran it over several times before shooting it. It was a 21 year old, mostly blind, deaf dog.

People are not happy about this and the story is not going away.

It is important that we do not let this go away. This is an extreme case, but there have been so many others over the years. We owe it to this dog and to other dogs that have been killed or treated badly. I am glad they held a memorial for him. He deserved that much and more at his age.
