World Pet Memorial Day - Catherine - 06-11-2016
I did not know there was such a day, but I am glad there is.
So, June 12 is world pet memorial day. I think that might be a good day for me to bury Rosebert and tarragon.

A group in California is planting trees. I have a beautiful maidenhair fern to plant. However you celebrate it, it is a good day to remember those pet who are no longer with us.

Aww! I am sorry I missed this post before!
It is a lovely idea to have an animals' Memorial Day. If the Queen can have an 'official' birthday, then all our companion animals should have a special day too.....why not?
Not that there is one day goes by without me remembering and honouring my particular loved ones. Every day is a 'memorial day' in a very nice way.

I think it is a beautiful idea. I planted a fern as a remembrance. I remembered the pets I have loved and lost, all the many that have gone on before me.
I still have some special burials to do, but it needs to wait until the extreme heat passes.
The remembering I can do any time.
