The rescue group Animal Rahat(rescue) is working in India with help from Peta to rescue and provide sanctuary for animals.
They seem to be willing to rescue any kind of animals.

It is wonderful to hear that working animals will be freed from their hard labour and allowed to live out their lives in peace.
For all the bad/sad stories we hear, there are many good stories with happy endings.
