Petition against lion hunting - Catherine - 12-03-2013
I think this petition is so important because it shows the world how strongly we feel about trophy hunting. If it becomes clear that huge numbers of people are against it then there will be an economic pressure to stop it.
I will pay to visit places that don't trophy hunt, but I won't stay somewhere that condones it.

I am deeply opposed to all forms of animal cruelty and the stupidity of trophy hunting.

I don't know how they can see hunting as something that deservers a trophy. They use high powered equipment against animals that can't defend themselves. How does this make them "mighty" hunters. It is important that we let them know how many of us are against hunting.

I know. We just have to keep fighting. At some point enough people will be against it and hunters will no longer boast about trophies. Children growing up will reject that kind of hunting and we will be able to stop it.
People will come to see why it is wrong.
