The video has heart stopping moments. At some point the height starts to get to you and rescue does not seem possible.

The kitten was brought to safety however. I do think he might have used up a few of his nine lives.

I am so glad somebody noticed that little kitten and managed to rescue him/her. Yes the camera angle showed a dizzying drop, and that ledge was so tiny. I was hoping the kitten wouldn't wriggle about and fall off. I suppose it must have jumped down there from a window?
Sometimes a cat or dog will jump out of a window without realising how high it is -until it is too late. This is a good warning for anyone who has a dog or cat who likes to do that. Keep windows barred so they can look out and smell the air but can't get out!

I didn't stop to think about where he came from. You are right, it must have been an open window. Lots of animals get hurt because of falls from balconies and window ledges. This little kitten was very lucky.
