They just found a Frilled Shark swimming off of Portugal. This is a very rare find and an amazing one. The Frilled Sharks were around when T Rexes roamed the earth. They have existed unchanged for 80 Million years. Yes 80 million years! Compared to them we are new comers, just a baby species. We may think we rule the earth, but these guys have been around a long time.
They have a pretty long standing claim as a successful species.

The Frilled Shark is certainly a strange looking creature. I am interested to hear about them, see their pictures, but I sure wouldn't want to meet one.
