Moose on the loose - Catherine - 11-25-2017

There is a moose in the Toronto area. He is a long way south of where he should be. It is hoped that he can be relocated to a more moose friendly location. With that in mind they have been tracking him all day. Now that it is late, he has disappeared. Hopefully he has found a safe place to sleep.

A moose is a big animal and it is dangerous to have one wandering around busy roads. I am sure they will be looking for him in the morning. As soon as I hear something I will let you know. I just hope the situation ends well.

Oh dear....a Moose at loose in the city does not sound like a good idea. The best time to find him might be dawn, but that's when there's more traffic. Anyway it will be a Sunday so maybe that's on his side. I hope he is found quickly and will be safe.

They can't find the moose anywhere. How can you lose something that big when you have many people searching for it.
Of course the moose could have slipped into a ravine or a clump of trees. If he just lay down and was still he would be hard to spot. He could go up or down the river and leave the city behind. If he can leave town on his own and disappear he will be a lot safer.

I will keep you posted.
