Who painted the Gopher Tortoise - Catherine - 04-19-2018
In Orlando Florida two people found a Gopher Tortoise that had been painted red and was partly covered in concrete.
They took the tortoise to a wildlife rehab centre where it is being cared for. Gopher Tortoises are a protected species and this has seriously endangered its life. Removing the paint is also dangerous. I wish them luck with that. The tortoise is going to need it.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation is now offering a reward for information leading to the person or persons who did this.
I hope someone turns them in. Who ever they are they did a cruel and dangerous thing to a gentle creature who has no defences.
