Tiny Hamster Patient - Catherine - 04-21-2018

A veterinarian in Prince Edward Island has successfully operated on a dwarf hamster, a first in a career that started in the seventies.
It took careful research about dosages and adapting tiny equipment, but the surgery worked and the hamster is recovering.

I admire the vet for even trying. Dwarf hamsters are very small and fragile. Dr. Lister is one amazing vet for being able to pull this off.  Mr. Nibbles is now recovering at home. That says it all. I wish Mr. Nibbles a happy healthy life and I hope Dr. Lister continues to care for animals for many more years. She is one incredible vet!

That's wonderful news. Just because you're little doesn't mean someone can't try to save your life!
It must have been painstaking work. Blessings to Dr. Lister!
