15 places cat lovers should visit - Catherine - 08-24-2018 Someone listed places that would be of interest to cat lovers. They range from cat museums to famous shelters. It would be an interesting addition to a holiday to visit one or two, if you are going to be in that city anyhow. https://www.bustle.com/p/15-places-all-cat-lovers-should-visit-at-least-once-in-their-lifetime-10220131 Some of the museums would be fun. I have never been to a cat café, but I know I would enjoy it. It is an interesting list. RE: 15 places cat lovers should visit - Tobi - 08-26-2018 It is an interesting list. We live and learn. I had no idea Hemingway was a cat lover and had polydactyl (6-toed)cats! The "Poezenboot" or floating boat-load of cats in Amsterdam is a great idea, and a safe refuge or those stray cats where they are cared for. I bet most people who visit will adopt one of the strays. I had not heard of it before. And I didn't know there were so many cats in the grounds of the Hermitage Museum! RE: 15 places cat lovers should visit - Catherine - 08-26-2018 I knew about Hemmingway, but I didn't know about the floating boat cats in Amsterdam. I had no idea there were so many cat museums. I bet there are more that didn't make the list. I am sure there are more cat cafes. I had no idea Hemmingway's polydactyl cats had quite so many toes. |
