The rare Sei Whales have been spotted in BC waters for the first time since the 1960s. They were heavily depleted by whaling and have not been seen in the area. There used to be 60,000 Sei Whales. We know the Orcas are in trouble, but they did find higher than expected numbers of harbour porpoises.
