Dog rescued from well - Catherine - 03-02-2014 Benny is one lucky dog and his owner is very happy to have him back. He was missing for days and finding him in time was very fortunate. http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2014/02/21/dog_reunited_with_owner_after_being_rescued_from_well.html As usual it was the firemen to the rescue. Seriously, these guys are the greatest. How many pets do the save in a year. One of them was Benny and his mom is glad to have him back. RE: Dog rescued from well - LPC - 03-02-2014 How the caretaker was relieved to see her dog alive! A lovely story. RE: Dog rescued from well - Catherine - 03-02-2014 I do so love a happy ending. I work in that area so I am familiar with the neighbourhood. The well must be a left over from many years ago. She was so overjoyed to get him back. Benny does look like a sweet dog. RE: Dog rescued from well - Cibach - 03-02-2014 How lucky Benny is, and his owner too. Fire fighters to the rescue again! What would we do without them?!! RE: Dog rescued from well - Tobi - 03-03-2014 Oh what a lovely ending to such a scary story. Benny looked done-in. He will be glad to have some good food, and some long sleeps in a warm bed. Three cheers for the firefighters! RE: Dog rescued from well - Catherine - 03-03-2014 We are having a very bad cold spell, but Benny must have been sheltered by the hole he was in and there must have been some snow for him to eat. I bet he was hungry and thirsty and very tired. He did look bedraggled. I do love a happy ending. |
