Mortimer was rescued as a baby. He has a genetic condition that makes him blind. From a fragile baby that barely survived Mortimer has become a very healthy happy piggie.
His people have gone out of their way to rescue other guinea pigs with the same lethal white problem.

Mortimer is proof that loving care can transform an animal and it is possible for a "damaged" pet to have a full and happy life if they are given a chance.
Mortimer is such a loving piggie in return that he has inspired his people to help other guinea pigs. Love has a way of multiplying and spreading.
Mortimer is such a cute piggie. No wonder they love him so much.
