I hope you never need this information, but it you do I hope you find it helpful.  Summer is tick season and ticks are more common every year. They now carry more serious illnesses. So it is important that we know how to deal with ticks.

The best thing is to check yourself and your dog as soon as you come in from a walk, Removing a tick that is loose is so much easier. Removing and attached tick is harder, but it can still be done. 
If you can't remove the tick yourself, it is important to get help from a vet.
