The Southern White Rhino calf was born at San Diego Zoo and it was conceived through artificial insemination. He is a healthy little male. His birth is giving hope to the plan to try and save the northern white Rhinos.

Some species are in serious trouble and the work of zoos is all that can save them. If we can reverse climate change, restore habitats and get rid of poachers then the zoos can produce baby Rhinos to live in the wild again.
We have to at least try since it is our fault that they are almost all gone.
