Coastguard rescue dog swimming in the ocean - Catherine - 12-07-2019

The coastguard was out doing training exercises when they spotted a dog swimming off shore. They were able to bring their boat along side and pull him from the water.  It had a full happy ending. The dog is fine and he was reunited with his family when they returned him to shore.

The question in my mind is how did he get out there in the first place. I suppose we will never know.
At least he was rescued. That far out the dog might not have been able to make it to shore.

he looks older and could have slipped off a boat while moving.

That was my thought. I don't think he  swam from shore. That wouldn't make sense. It is just lucky they spotted him in time. The cold and sheer exhaustion would have overcome him soon.
