Saturday May 23, 2020 is World Turtle Day. The day was started twenty years ago and is sponsored by the American Tortoise Rescue. This rescue is dedicated to the wellbeing of all turtles and tortoises.

This year we are limited in how we can celebrate the day. No public events can take place. It would be a good day to do some research about turtles and understand the dangers they face from human activity.
