Health Canada WILL NOT consider animal suffering in Strychnine review - Catherine - 02-03-2021
I cannot believe what I just read.Health Canada is going to review the use strychnine to control predators(poison wolves). When they do this review they do not intend to consider the factor of animal suffering. They don't think it can be measured anyhow.

I am totally ashamed that they are Canadian.
How can they say that animal suffering can't be measured. Strychnine is a horrible poison. I have seen an animal die of it.(when I lived in Alberta)
It is a terrible way to die. Do you really need that measured. Isn't the word horrible enough of a measurement.
The other factor they need to think about is all the non target animals that die from the strychnine that gets into the environment.
