A (tail-less) tale with a happy ending! - Tobi - 07-15-2014

A baby fox was found abandoned and had also lost most of his tail. When taken in by wildlife rescuer in Cornwall UK, he met Barny -a dog, who also had less of a tail than he should have, and they have hours of fun together playing!
A treat to watch.

They look cute together. The dog is a funny looking character. I wonder what sort of breed or mix he is.

A delightful video. I love the bit where they play "chase" around the bush. Dogs and foxes can actually get on together very well. It is only humans who have taught hounds to chase and kill foxes.

Dogs and foxes both have playful natures. They should be naturals as friends.
I think many of what we think of as enemies would get along if we let them. I have known many dogs and cats to be friends. Perhaps friendship is the natural response to another animal. I know animals do not react to animals that have injuries and deformities. They are naturally accepting.
