The Toronto Zoo is running a special Name a Cockroach for Valentine's Day. In particular they assume it will be named after an ex or anyone else who bugs you.
For $25.00 you can name a cockroach after anyone you want. You will receive a digital certificate with your name and the cockroach's. They will even send an Ecard to the person the roach is named after.
They go on to describe what an important part roaches play in their normal ecosystem. They help break down forest litter and are a food source for other animals.

It is a cute fund raiser that number of zoos are doing right now. Not everyone wants hearts and flowers at valentine's day.
Hearing about how important roaches are ecologically, I would be proud to have one named after me.
