Spain to exclude hunting dogs from animal protection laws - Catherine - 02-06-2023 Animal rights groups are marching to protest Spain's new animal rights law. The new law strengthens the penalties for animal abuse. It can even include jail time for serious cases. To exclude them from protection is unacceptable.  I hope the protestors are successful in their efforts to influence the government.  There should be special severe penalties for the men that abuse their own hunting dogs.  They should be banned from hunting for life.
