BC wolf cull is not humane - Catherine - 04-23-2023

The BC wolf cull is being justified as a way to protect the Cariboo. It is supposed to be a humane reduction in wolf numbers.
Hundreds of wolves have died and there is serious doubt about the humaneness of the kill.

These are pictures of some of the kills. Clearly they are not doing head shots that result in a quick death. Many of the wolves killed would have taken time to die. These are the pictures they released. What didn't they show us.

Clearly animals are suffering before they die.
Worse, the real reason why the Cariboo are in trouble is human activity. We have damaged ecosystems that are critical to their survival.
Instead of fixing the damage, we are cruelly killing wolves. The result will be a further damaged ecosystem. The "quick fix" killing is going to do more harm than good.
