Urban Wildlife - Catherine - 04-27-2023 We are increasingly seeing wildlife in our cities. They seem quite at home and people seem okay to have the animals around. https://www.boredpanda.com/cities-gone-wild-corey-arnold/?utm_source=news.google&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=organic We had a beaver on a main Toronto street just days ago. It is a street I have walked on. https://www.blogto.com/city/2023/04/beaver-spotted-busy-toronto-street/ A couple of years ago a beaver went into one of our subway stations. We have had raccoons and pigeons of the subways too. Some were actually riding the trains. I think many cities are experiencing a new wildlife presence. We are just going to have to get used to it. Animals are not going away. |
