How to prevent Lyme Disease in your dog - Catherine - 05-01-2023

It is now heading into the warmer weather in the places that have Lyme Disease. It is very important to prevent your dog from getting Lyme Disease.
Yes you can look for ticks and remove them. They are very small and it is easy to miss them. A better choice would be to visit your vet and get a treatment that is given to your dog before it encounters ticks. You give the dog a pill before you go out and the ticks will drop right off. They will not even attach. That also means the ticks will not be brought into the house where they can endanger humans.
