Paws of War is a rescue/charity that helps re-unite rescue animals with the soldiers that rescued them. Anthony Hopkins and his wife, Stella Arroyave
have joined with the charity to help bring the pets home to the soldiers who saved them. While deployed overseas, many soldiers will bond with a rescue animal. The animals need the help of humans and the soldiers need the comfort of a pet.

This is so important. The animals have no one else to turn to. The soldiers form bonds with them and help them. Leaving the animals behind when they come home makes the coming home traumatic. Bringing soldier and pet together is very healing for both.
