Whale rescue underway in Australia - Catherine - 08-11-2023
A Humpback Whale has become entangled in discarded fishing gear off of Perth.
It could take days to free the whale. It is ten meters long and they need to wait until is is tired out before they can cut it free.

That is a big whale. It is amazing that they can even attempt a rescue.
I hope they are successful.
This is happening way too often. We really do need to clean up the oceans.
