Ringling Brothers Circuses features animal acts for years. They shut down 6 years ago. The public is no longer interested in seeing animals perform tricks under threat. The circus is reopening, but minus the animal acts. This will be a reimagined circus with acrobats and clowns and other human performers.
Many circuses have gone in this direction. There are just a few holdouts who still have performing animals.

It is just a mater of time before all circuses are animal free. People don't really want to see abused animals forced to do tricks.
We just have to push harder against the old style circus and work harder to support the new cruelty free circuses.
